Drake is a village in the Rural Municipality of Usborne No. 310, lying west of Highway 20 about 11 kilometres south of where that road meets the Yellowhead Highway. It incorporated as a village on September 19, 1910.
Drake is mostly a farming community, supported by the crops and livestock of the surrounding farms. Two large-scale businesses, Drake Meat Processors and Bergen Industries, were founded in the village and still operate from it, which has kept Drake from becoming a loose connection of farms.
Drake Elementary School serves young students from the village and nearby areas without their own school, such as Lockwood, and older students go on to Lanigan Central High School. In hockey, the Drake Canucks are the 2023 Senior Hockey Saskatchewan Provincial A champions, and former NHL player Robin Bartel is among the village's notable people.
